Meredith H. Luce, MS, RD, LDN
A registered dietitian since 1980. She holds a bachelor’s degree in community nutrition and clinical dietetics from Simmons College and a master’s degree from Columbia University in public health nutrition, magna cum laude. Meredith specializes in weight loss and digestive disorders.
The president of PhysicalMind Institute and started the Pilates boom in 1991 with the first Pilates certification program. The Institute’s courses deliver the most evolved professional training today. Their latest innovations include Parasetter®, a roller that helps to reduce cortisol levels, and a wearable resistance system called Tye4®.
Mary Beth Langlinais, MS, RD
More than 25 years of experience as a registered dietitian and an exercise specialist. In 1989, she received her bachelor’s of science in kinesiology, and then went on to earn a master’s of science in nutrition and dietetics three years later. Mary Beth is a certified Pilates teacher through PhysicalMind Institute, and also serves as a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in the department of nursing/dietetics.
Our fearless leader Sam Stomach is here to help you keep your stomach small and honest. When you use the 80Bites app, Sam offers words of encouragement—e.g., “It’s okay to ogle. There’s a reason people call it food porn!”—as you follow the program. With more than five decades of experience dealing with overstretching, Sam now fights for the rights of abused stomachs everywhere.
